I’ve been a little preoccupied of late.
I’ve been doing the Christmas shopping thing and setting up the HAED bulletin 2013 Freebie SAL so the stitching has been a little amiss of late.
I do have a little update of my SK dragon though.
I’m not the only busy one around here. We decided to take an insurance payout on the repair to our driveway and are organising the new driveway ourselves. So… Tim has been preparing the old driveway by attacking it with a jack hammer!!!
Not only can we blame the earthquakes on the damage, but we can blame the earthquake for Tim’s destruction of it. After he worked at the deconstruction of the Eastgate mall he has wanted to get a jack hammer and destroy stuff. Now he’s like a pig in mud.
Back onto the subject of the Freebie SAL, I thought I’d share what I choice and what I will be sharing WIP of next year.
Thanks for all your amazing hard work on the SAL and I’m excited to see your progress on your choice!!
Lovely progress on your dragon. I am not surprised you have no stitching time with organising the 2013 SAL. Really looking forward to it. Thank you.
WOW I didn’t realise how vibrant the colours were on the Spangler bookmarks. Looks fantastic Rachel!
Thank you so much for all your work on the SAL for next year. I freak everytime I see the list growing. You are certainly going to be busy when those emails get sent out. I’m doing Theatre of the absurd as well. It was a hard choice but the lunatic in me screamed out – hello these are your people!!
Good luck with the driveway I hope the feeling has returned to Tim’s arms after that massive effort.

Rachel, your going to have another finish soon, I love your draggie bookmark. It’s adorable. I think I’m going to choose the same chart as you for the SAL. I know you’ll leave me in the dust as far as progress but I thought with your wip and everyone else’s it will keep me motivated. Great job on organizing the SAL on the board. Your doing a super job!
Hi Rachel, Great progress but i am intrigued by your talk of the 2013 HAED freebie SAL – could you tell me more about it, please?
Your SK looks wonderful =)
I chose Theatre of the Absurd, too =) It’s such a stunning design!
I love how your draggie is looking.
I’m looking forward to the SAL on the forum next year. I haven’t done one for a few years. Thank you for organising it.
Your dragon is looking good. I love those charts.
