It is with much sadness that I have to write that we had to take Sharna to the vet one last time. She had taken a turn for the worse and although she was eating almost everything we gave her nothing she ate stayed in and she was just not a happy camper.
Tim was kind enough to take her in to see her doctor and she told him that her thyroid was extremely inflamed and her kidneys had basically packed up and that the choice we had made was the right one for her age.
We think she had a good 11 years with us. She was a rescue cat from the SPCA that we picked up at age 3. We have no idea of her treatment during her early years as she had a very prominent spine and had obviously not treated well, but we made up for that with loads of attention and time. She won’t be forgotten, if at all, as she was a snarky cat who liked to scratch and bite when we got her and I have the scars to prove it. But she calmed down so much so that she was even great with children.
RIP My fluffy tiger.
And now for an update on Frog Prince.
I will have an update on Turandot for you next time. Tempus Fugit.
